DMK leader VP Duraisamy launched the audio and hailed producer Munusamy for coming out with a topic issue. "In today's scenario, agricultural lands have been sparse and kudos to the director for touching the farmers' predicaments and need to save our land. All the same, it is not preachy and has a good dose of commercial elements like comedy, music and romance." Rakshan and Rithika play the lead pair and Ramji scores the music.
