Actor Vijay, who is shooting for his upcoming film tentatively titled Vijay 60, was last spotted at Radhikaa’s daughter Rayane’s reception... in his recent, almost-buzz cut that we have got acquainted to.
However, fans and cast members of his next film keep posting pictures with Ilayathalapathy sporting a wig — an image that’s a far cry from his fit and fabulous Theri avatar. Why would Vijay resort to such an ordinary, dated look, you wonder... could it be something to do with his hair?
Now, a close source to the actor has revealed that Vijay has been suffering from a hair-fall problem — because of which he is seen wearing a wig in the film. The source also added that Vijay is undergoing treatment at Advanced Hair Studio in Sterling Road, Nungambakkam. We hear that his treatment would be wrapped up in six months, post which he will return back to his old look.
When DC contacted the hair studio, they neither admitted the fact nor denied it. Advanced Hair Studio, with 45 years of experience in this field, specialises in hair replacement and re-growth.
We sure hope the actor gets over this malady soon — in time for the film’s release next Pongal, as expected!
