Varsha Bollamma, a look-alike of Nazriya Nazim, who is a part of Vijay Sethupathi’s 96, has bagged a film titled Seemathurai. Directed by Santhosh Thyagarajan, a popular name in the short film circuit, the film has Geethan, who has done a few films including Kathai Kelu, in the lead protagonist role.
Talking about the movie, Santhosh says, “The film revolves around a ruffian Seemathurai, who never listens to anyone in the village. He is then struck by a cupid and his life changes upside down. I have given a realistic approach “ Varsha Bollamma has a meaty role in this film and she is a talent to watch out for, he adds. Viji Chandrashekar, Kayal Vincent and Mahendran are in the supporting cast.
