It's Jyothika, lights, camera, action for Kaatrin Mozhi
Jyothika began shooting on Monday for her next titled Kaattrin Mozhi, a remake of Bollywood hit Tumhari Sulu. Directed by Radha Mohan, who gave Jo her career best movie Mozhi, the film is produced by Dhananjeyan. A huge apartment complex set has been erected in the city where shooting commenced with Jyothika, Vidarth, MS Bhaskar, Manobala, Kumaravel and Mohanram taking part in it. Lakshmi Manchu also plays a crucial role beside Uma Padmanabhan, Seema Taneja and Sindhu. AR Rahman's nephew A.H.Kaashif composes the music.
Suriya and Sivakumar were spotted at the Mahurat that took place Monday morning prior to the shoot. Talking to DC, Dhananjeyan said, “We are completing the film at a single stretch schedule for a continuous period of 50 days. The script has been given the necessary nativity touches needed for the Tamil version by Radha Mohan and Pon Parthiban.”
Heaping praise on Jyothika's dedication and focus, he said, “Jyothika madam essays a RJ in the film and hence she has a slightly different diction. In order to get her portions correct, she took her dialogues in advance so that she can rehearse and come for the shoot. She will be dubbing in her own voice for the film as well.”
A set resembling a FM radio station has also been erected in T.Nagar where the segments involving Jo as a radio jockey will be shot.
