Actor Vimal, missing in action for a while, is back with a bang with the movie Mannar Vagaiyara. And, interestingly, the movie is produced by his newly started banner A3V Cinemas and directed by Bhoopathy Pandian who also returns after a long gap. Anandhi will be seen romancing Vimal.
Speaking at the music launch of the film, Anandhi said, “I was impressed with the way Pandian sir narrated the movie in a hilarious manner. I am also attempting a comedy for the first time. I have imitated Robo Shankar in a dance sequence. I was awestruck with the director’s comic sense and asked if he could take me as an assistant while canning other portions”.
The director said that audiences would see a new Vimal avatar in the movie. “Vimal did not accept any other film because of MV. His dedication and focus would take him places. Vishal and Dhanush who worked under my direction have turned successful producers. Likewise, the lucky streak will continue for Vimal as well,” Pandian quipped. Reportedly, six of Vimal’s films are ready for release in 2018.
