Kannada actress Shruti Ramakrishnan who debuted in Tamil as a heroine with Aanmai Thavarel is yet to make a mark despite being a bundle of talent. She recently replaced Nikki Galrani in the Jiiva-starrer Kavalai Vendaam.
Now, the pretty girl is trying her hand at comedy with Aalukku Paadhi 50-50, sharing the screen with Sethu. Directed by Krishna Sai, the movie is a full-fledged humour and has a host of comedians including Bala Saravanan, Mayilsamy, Pattimandram Raja, Munishkanth, Naan Kadavul Rajendran and Yogi Babu.
“With stressed out lifestyles, people come to cinema halls to have a hearty laugh. I vouch that the film will be rib-tickling! Having acted in two rom-coms including Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya, Sethu has a natural flair for comedy. Shruti is equally good,” claims the director. Dharan has been roped in as the music director.
