Veteran actress Ambika, a prominent face in all four South Indian film industries, has a knack for picking influential roles in the movies. She was last seen in director Vijay’s Idhu Enna Maayam, two years back. However, the actress didn’t take up any films in Tamil and Telugu in 2016. Now, it looks like Ambika might play an important role in director Vijay Chander’s next venture, featuring Vikram and Tamannaah in titular roles.
A source in the know, informs us, “It is true that she has been approached for the movie, but she is yet to sign on the dotted line. If she decides to hop on board, she will essay the role of Vikram’s mother in the movie.” The first schedule of this yet-to-be-titled film was wrapped up recently in the city. After completing the present schedule of Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram, the actor will once again resume the shoot of Vijay Chander’s project.
Rumours were rife that the core plot of this movie is on the lines of Pollathavan starring Dhanush, Divya Spandana and Daniel Balaji. It is speculated that the movie would revolve around car trafficking.
