Harish Kalyan signs three Tamil films
Young actor Harish Kalyan, who was last seen as one of the leads in Vil Ambu, took a short break from Kollywood to focus on his Telugu debut, Kaadhali. Now, the actor is back in Tamil films and has signed three projects. The young actor chats with us about this lineup, and the type of films that he dreams to be a part of.
“Although my Telugu debut didn’t get the response we had hoped for, it has got me a good recognition, and I have been offered a couple of Telugu films,” Harish begins, adding, “Moreover, I have begun working on a Tamil project — a sensible adult comedy and have been shooting for it for the past two weeks.” The actor, though tight-lipped about the details of the three films, says that he is the solo hero in them and they’re all of different genres. “The other two films are action thrillers and I’m waiting to shoot for them beginning in August. The official announcement will be out sometime in the coming weeks.”
Harish says he wishes to do a breezy, romantic film on the lines of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and Minnale. “I’m sure every actor wishes to do such films at some point of their careers. I have also heard some good scripts on the same lines, and hopefully will get to do them soon,” he says, signing off.
