Senthil Ganesh, winner of the Super Singer reality show who hit the limelight with his playback singing in K’town in films like Seemaraja and Charlie Chaplin 2 is now taking a new avatar of an actor. He will be seen as the lead hero in a film titled Karimiugan, directed by Chella Thangaiah, who penned the lyrics of the recent viral hit song, ‘Chinna Machan Sevatha Machan’.
Speaking about the film, director Chella says, “I and Senthil-Rajalakshmi couple know each other for a long and we have been singing folk numbers in various events. I have already made a film called Thirudu Pogadha Manasu with Senthil as the lead guy. Now once again, we have come together for Karimugan, and that is when he got busy with the Super Singer competition.”
While Senthil will be seen as an electrician in the rural entertainer, actress Gayathri will be seen as his pair. Besides direction, Chella Thangaiah is playing a crucial role and handling the music as well.
