While director Balaji Tharaneetharan’s second venture Oru Pakka Kathai is getting ready to see the light of the day, he has moved on to his third film Seethakathi which focuses on the lives of theatre actors. Actor Vijay Sethupathi plays the lead role — as that of an aspiring actor in a theatre group. The film went on floors in mid-2017 and the team managed to complete 50 per cent of the movie. After completing the first schedule, the team took a small break as Vijay Sethupathi got busy with his other commitments. Now, we hear that the shooting is all set to resume in the first week of December. Interestingly, this is Vijay Sethupathi’s landmark 25th film.
The Karuppan actor will be portraying different looks in the movie and for one of the looks; the team has roped in Oscar-winning makeup artist Greg Cannon. The actor recently took a special make up test for one of his roles. The movie also has guest appearances from actresses Remya Nambeesan, Gayathrie, Parvathi and director Mahendran.
