Hyderabad: If reliable sources from Chennai are to be believed, director Aishwarya Rajnikanth has reportedly re-shot a few portions of her upcoming film ‘Lal Salaam’ for a couple of days recently. "Rajnikanth’s market is at the peak after blockbuster “Jailer’ and his next film ‘Lal Salaam’ is also much-awaited among fans and trade circles,” says a source and adds, “She reshot with key actors for a couple of days in and around Kancheepuram near Chennai and was finally satisfied with the outcome. She didn't want to compromise on any aspect.”
Already, the makers released the first official teaser of the sports action drama, which gave fans a glimpse of the extended cameo appearance of Rajinikanth in the film. It also stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth. The action-packed teaser was loaded with a tense cricket match where the commentator announces that it is not just a game but a war.
The teaser then gave a glimpse of Rajinikanth as Moideen Bhai, who makes a grand entry in his car and fights goons. "You have mixed religion with sports. You have poisoned the minds of the people," says Rajnikanth in the teaser.
“Although Rajnikanth is making a special appearance in the film his presence has triggered a lot of hype and hoopla around the film. It is going to be viewed as a superstar film, so Aishwarya taking no chances,” he points out. The daughter of Rajnikanth has to deliver a massive hit since her earlier much-hyped film ‘3’ starring Dhanush and Shruti Haasan bombed at the box office in Telugu states many years ago.
