After a stunning debut in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamiyada, Manjima Mohan is now looking at a busy year in Kollywood. The actress has now signed on Vishnu Vishal’s next film, directed by Muruganandham. Talking about her inclusion in the film, Manjima says, “Muruganandham approached me with the script a couple of weeks ago. I heard the whole script and not just my part. What I liked the most about the story was how colourful and light hearted the subject is.”
Manjima added that her character is rather similar to that of hers in AYM. “I would say it is closer to Leela from AYM, but leans a little towards the chirpier side.” The actress also plays the female lead in Vikram Prabhu’s Sathriyan. With an interesting lineup this year, Manjima says that she enjoys being busy. “Even if I get to rest for a couple days, I start feeling restless. I love working 24/7! Apart from these films, I am also listening to a few interesting scripts.” The film with Vishnu is produced by Dusshyanth Sivaji under his banner Eeshan Productions. Muruganandham has already directed Vishnu in the upcoming Kathanayagan.
