Top ad filmmaker Lekha Ratnakumar, who has been managing ‘Lekha Sonoton Music Library’ in collaboration with Germany’s famous brand Sonoton for more than two decades, has set up yet another library — Lekha Music. The library has more than 50 lakh music tracks produced by world famous music companies.
Talking to DC, Ratnakumar said, “I have acquired the copyrights of various forms of music with live instruments from different music labels from around the world. Besides being a boon for films and television serials, these can be utilized in web series for digital content in OTT platforms, short films and ad commercials and jingles by paying reasonable fees. I have acquired the rights of these music tracks to be used in various Indian language productions as well.”
