Maverick filmmaker T. Rajendar, who’s largely focussed on his acting career in recent times, is back to doing what he’s best at – wielding the megaphone. The director, who’s been seen in offbeat roles in Kavan and Vizhithiru, recently announced a film titled Indraya Kadhal Da.
Actress Namitha has been cast as a lady-don in the film, and Rajendar is in talks with some stars to play the lead role. He also plans to launch some new faces.
Touted to be a youthful romance, the film is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Bankrolled by Simbu Cine Arts, the film has Radha Ravi and a host of comedians including Venniradai Moorthy, Paandu, VTV Ganesh, Robo Shankar, Madan Bob, Jagan and Thyagu in supporting roles. Besides direction, TR has also taken charge of writing the story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics, music, and cinematography.
