Athiyan Athirai heaps laurels on Kishore Kumar
Athiyan Athirai, a former associate of ace Pa Ranjith in films like Kaala, Kabali, and Madras, is all praise for cinematographer Kishore Kumar for completing the challenging task of shooting in 40 locations in 45 days for his upcoming debut film Irandaam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu. About Kishore’s feat he says, “It was definitely a tough journey. We were actually apprehensive if we could complete the film as planned in 45 days with several location shifts. I must admit that Kishore had worked hard and had helped finish the plan successfully. I am awe of his work as well.”
Delving ino the project, director Athiyan says, “It is a travel film that will address hierarchical and caste politics in India and how a man frees himself from such bonds.” The film has Dinesh, Anandhi, Riythvika, Munishkanth, and Ramesh Thilak I the cast and is the second production of Pa Ranjith after his critically acclaimed Pariyerum Perumal.
