Ajmal Ameer who started his Tamil career with a bang with Anjathe, was noticed for his villainous role in Ko. When the movie was dubbed in Telugu as Rangam, it created a market for the handsome hero; and he went MiA in Tamil! However, at a time when the elections are around the corner, one of his Telugu political thrillers Prabhajam is being dubbed in Tamil as Nalla Vaayan Naara Vaayan. Unlike in Ko where Ajmal played a scheming person with vested interests, in Prabhanjam directed by Bhaskar Rao he is a ‘good for nothing son’ in the first half who turns into a powerful politician later, and strives hard for good governance. “The script has relevance to present political scenario,” claims the director. Aarushi plays his love interest and Panchi Bora essays the second female lead.
