We had reported that the shooting of Thalapathy Vijay’s film Master on location at Neyveli, which was interrupted by Income Tax officials, resumed last Friday. The schedule was completed on Sunday, and Vijay climbed atop a van to wave to the thousands of fans waiting outside the Neyveli Lignite Corporation factory. The selfie which the actor took with his fans, who went into a frenzy, was later released on his social media handle.
Vijay posted the selfie and captained it “Thank You Neyveli”, taking Twitter by storm. The tweet was trending No.1 in India and the picture has seen record sharing among netizens. The video is also going viral on social media platforms.
Master is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has Vijay Sethupathi essaying Vijay’s antagonist. Malavika Mohanan is the female lead. Andrea, Arjun Das, Shanthanu, Brigada and Gouri G Kishan of 96 fame play key roles. Produced by XB Film Creators, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander, who is collaborating with Vijay after Kaththi and Sathyan Sooryan cranks the camera.
