When Ram Charan said during the promotions of his Telugu film Dhruva that his film with Mani Ratnam might fall into place soon, little did one know that it would also mean that he would work again with his co-star from Dhruva, Arvind Swami. It is now learnt that the duo will be seen together in Ram Charan’s K’town entry, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual with the ace director.
“The film’s shoot is likely to begin in August, after Ram Charan completes his next Telugu project. As for Arvind, he’s got a lot of projects in the pipeline but he will make time for this film considering his close association with Mani Ratnam, who played an important role in his comeback into films after a long hiatus. He will play a very crucial role, something which the director has specially written for him,” shares a source in the know.
This new project is touted to be an action-based story, and Mani Ratnam will begin pre-production soon after the release of his upcoming film Kaatru Veliyidai.
