Aramm 2 is on the cards: Kotapadi J Rajesh
Nayanthara is always known for handling both commercial and serious films with ease. She juggles between genres with such grace and recently-released film Aramm is a fitting example to the feat. In her latest offing, she plays Madhivadhani, an IAS officer, who takes up a pressing issue that is the need of the hour.
Director Gopi Nainar has addressed several issues in the movie and the taut screenplay has moved people to tears. The film is receiving overwhelming responses from the audiences and critics alike.
In recent developments, Kotapadi J Rajesh of KJR Studios, who has produced this moving tale, has revealed some exciting news about the movie.
Speaking to DC, Rajesh says, “We are extremely happy with the response for Aramm. I’m happy to announce that there will be a sequel to this film, titled Aramm 2 and it will release sometime in 2018.”
According to sources close to the team, the sequel will also address a powerful issue, which will also have Nayanthara as the protagonist.
Meanwhile, Nayan, who is known for maintaining a low profile, visited a few theatres in the city to meet her fans, who have received the film with exceedingly well.
Nayanthara is presently awaiting the release of the films Velaikkaran, Imaikaa Nodigal, Kolayuthir Kaalam and Co Co, which are at different stages of production.
