Actor Prithivirajan, son of ace director-actor Pandiarajan is yet to get a proper break in Tamil cinema. The young actor has now bagged a period movie titled Kadhal Munnettra Kazhagam, and Chandini Tamilarasan will be romancing Prithivi in the film. Directed by Manick Sathya, the film is set in 1980s.
Chandini plays a teacher with a typical 80s look and will be sporting cotton sarees with spectacles, replete with an umbrella! Prithivi will be seen as a boy from a rural area sporting long hair, bell-bottom pants and colourful shirts.
“Though it is a romantic story, it has unexpected twists and turns,” the director claims. A close source tells us that the story touches upon a sensitive issue as well. Newcomer Sivasenathypathi appears in a crucial role. Singam Puli, Kishore and Kanja Karuppu play the supporting characters.
