Ashok Kumar of Muruga fame returns after a gap with a film titled Maya Thirai. He has two girls, Sheela and Chandini Tamizharasan, for company. Meghali has also been roped in for a key role.

Sampath Kumar, a former assistant of Bala, Agathian and Ezhil, is debuting as the director. A Film Institute graduate, he had won the ‘Best Short Film Director’ award from the Tamil Nadu Government for his Payanam.
The story takes place in one night, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. time. It revolves around family deities and other gods.
Costume designer Sai has bankrolled the film.
