Looks like Gautham Menon’s stylish spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram will have two female leads, akin to some of his films. Initially, Anu Emmanuel was roped in for the movie, but due to date issues, she was then replaced by Telugu actress Ritu Varma. Now, in addition to Ritu, the film will also have Aishwarya Rajesh of Kaaka Muttai fame.
The actress recently has taken the screen test and the makers have signed her for an important role. Talking to DC, the Dharmadurai actress confirms the new development — “Yes, it is true that I am part of the film, and I am not supposed to reveal anything more than that — or about my role in the film!”
The actress has also stated that she doesn’t know when she will be joining the shoot. She quips, “As of now, the only thing that has been confirmed is that I am playing a role in the DN. Everything else has to be planned only in the coming days.”
Meanwhile, it is said that the Dhruva Natchathiram team is shooting for the film at full throttle. A picture reportedly from the sets of the film has gone viral on social media. Vikram is seen sporting a casual look in a T-shirt and denim trousers coupled with a denim jacket. The film, which has generated a lot of attention after its teaser release, is expected to hit the screens in August.
