Actor Vetri, who debuted with the critically acclaimed 8 Thottakkal, has signed a suspense thriller titled Jiivi after a year’s gap. Directed by VJ Gopinath, the film will have two heroines —Ashwini and Monica, who have done few films earlier.
Speaking about the movie, Gopinath says, “The film deals with human emotions that are wedged between science and mysticism. Set in Chennai, it is a suspense action film with its screenplay completely designed in a unique style.” Karunakaran, Mime Gopi, Rohini and Rama will be seen in supporting characters. Sundaramurthy KS, who did the music for 8 Thottakkal has been brought on board once again.
