Bollywood actress Palak Lalwani, who made an impressive Tamil debut with GVP’s Kuppatthu Raja and was later seen in a clichéd role in Vaibhav’s Sixer, has been roped in for Arun Vijay’s next which is tentatively title AV30.
Kumaravelan of Haridas fame who returns to wielding megaphone after a gap directs the film. Arun Vijay plays a cop for the second time in the thriller.
Talking about the film, the director says, “It is a crime thriller, but the premise is totally different from films of similar genre. Though inspired by a real life topical issue, I have added few fictionalised elements in it.”
The director is known for strong portrayal of female characters and hope Palak’s will also be one such. Shabir does the music and Gopi is the cinematographer.
