Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu who has changed her Twitter handle to Samantha Akkineni post her wedding to Naga Chaitanya has now replaced Nikki Galrani as the most sensational Kollywood celebrity to be searched for online, in 2017. Cyber security firm McAfee researched famous individuals to reveal the riskiest celebrity to search for online. The research reveals which movie icons generate the riskiest search results that could potentially expose their fans to malicious websites.
Actor Jiiva comes in the second place followed by Tapsee Pannu, Sivakarthikeyan and Dhanush in the top five for 2017.
The study reveals, “Cybercriminals continue to use the fascination of consumers with celebrity culture to drive unsuspecting users to potentially malicious websites that can be used to install malware, steal personal information and even passwords. It highlights the dangers of clicking on suspicious links when searching for celebrity-focused content.”
“With today’s digital explosion, the gap between celebrities and their fans has diminished. There’s a looming interest among Indians to know more about their favorite icons, for which there’s a deluge of fresh and readily consumable content made available.” said Venkat Krishnapur, Head of R&D Operations, McAfee. Searching for “Samantha Ruth Prabhu” results in an 8.89 per cent chance towards landing on a malicious website!

Two receptions for Chay, Sam
By the looks of it, two receptions will be held for newlyweds Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni. According to a source, Chaitanya’s mother Lakshmi is planning a reception in Chennai this month as she resides there.
“This is only for family and close friends as she wants to make it a private affair,” says the source. The entire Daggubati family, along with her friends, are likely to attend the Chennai reception. Post that, Nagarjuna is planning a big do in Hyderabad for the industry.
“The marriage happened only in the presence of family members; so Nag is planning a big reception for the industry people and his friends in Hyderabad in the first week of November,” added the source.
The dates of the two events may be out once Chay and Sam work out their shoot schedules.
