Ajmal Ameer’s last film Nungambakkam, based on the sensational murder of techie Swathy at Nungambakkam Railway station is yet to see the light of day because of the controversy surrounding the incident.

Directed by AT Gnanam, it has popular Marathi actress Pallavi Subash, Akshata Sonawane who has acted in Telugu and Kannada films and Puja Mondal as the lead girls with Black Pandi in a crucial character. Vidya Pradeep, whom we saw in Thadam and now part of a mega Tamil soap, does a vital role.
