Adult comedy flick Trisha Illana Nayanthara directed by Adhik Ravichandran is probably one of the seriously debated flicks of the recent times. While some questioned whether such films should be made, many felt that the film was entertaining and opened up a lot of discussion. The film stars GV Prakash, Kayal Anandhi and Manisha Yadav in the lead roles.
A couple of weeks back, we had reported that Adhik Ravichandran and GV Prakash would team up for the second time. Now, the duo is all set to push the envelope. Yes, they are teaming up for a film that will be shot entirely in 3D. Speaking to DC, Adhik Ravichandran says, “It is true that GV and I are joining hands yet again. We have already commenced the shoot and the first schedule which went on for 15 days was wrapped up in Ooty. I would call this as a fantasy love story. Actress Sonia Aggarwal has an important role to essay in this venture.”
Many directors in Kollywood who wish to make a film in 3D would initially shoot it in 2D and then convert it into 3D. However, Adhik is taking a different route with his third venture. “We are shooting the film in the 3D format directly and there is no conversion at all. Further schedules will take place in Chennai and I will be announcing the heroine in another two weeks,” he adds.
GV Prakash who plays the lead also doubles up as a music director. The technical team includes cinematographer Abinandhan, art director Ilaiyaraja and costume designer NJ Sathya. Anandhraj, Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh are part of the supporting cast.
