Shirish needed 19 takes for lip lock scene Chandhini
“Chandhini is my best friend. During a problematic situation, when I called her to play my pair in Raja Ranguski— a murder mystery directed by Dharani Dharan — she came on board without even listening to the script. Thanks for the trust she had in director and me. Her character has shaped up so well,” revealed Metro Shirish at the promo event of the film.
Shirish plays the role of a beat police officer named Raja, and Chandini Tamilarasan essays a writer, an ardent fan of noted writer Sujatha and calls herself Ranguski (the pen name of Sujatha).
Shirish continues, “I was very particular that somehow we should get Yuvan Shankar Raja for music. I along with the producer and director went and narrated the script to Yuvan. He agreed to be part of script and I was told that he even took less remuneration than what the producer expected.”
Chandhini disclosed that Shirish who is normally a single-take artiste took 19 takes for a particular scene, but the dusky actress refused to delve into more details about it. But the cat is out of the bag. Apparently, Shirish took 19 takes for a lip lock scene with Chandini.
