Madhu plays aspiring Olympian in lock
it\'s a challenging role for an actor who won acclaim in gangster film Attu
Rathan Lingaa, who made the critically acclaimed North Chennai gangster story Attu, is all set for his next. A psycho thriller, the film is titled Lock and revolves around an aspiring sportswoman played by Madhu. It is about how her dreams are shattered by a bunch of killers.
Madhu, who was hitherto doing small roles in films like Attakatthi and Seeru has been elevated as a heroine in Lock.
“I play Julie, a swimming champ, and my dream is to win in Olympics. It’s a challenging role and I am thankful to director Rathan Lingaa for having faith in me and bringing me on board,” Madhu told Deccan Chronicle.
Sudhir is the lead hero. Harini plays the second heroine. Lingaa has also got dancer master Bharathy as a crucial character.
