Yesteryear actresses Disco Shanthi and Lalitha Kumari’s niece and daughter of Arunmozhi Varman, Abrina, who went missing recently, has been found.
A student of Sacred Heart Matriculation Higher Secondary School in the city, Abrina George went missing on September 6. Lalitha Kumari took the matter to the press and media last week, which received more attention.
Reportedly, the girl was staying in a hostel attached to a church in Bengaluru.
According to police, following the spread of information through social media, the authorities of the church rang up to inform them that Abrina was safe.
Actor Karthi posted a message with the photograph of the girl on his Twitter account on Friday night. He wrote, “Abrina was found last night. I sincerely thank all of you who helped to find her, especially volunteers in Bangalore & our Tamilnadu police.” In fact, Karthi was the first one to take to Twitter when Abrina went missing.
Actor Prakash Raj, the former husband of Lalitha Kumari also took to his Twitter page to announce the return of the girl. He said, “abrina. .. thank you to everyone who tried to help.. wish .. n prayed. Our child is back.”
