Suriya, who is busy with director Hari’s S3, is shooting the introduction song of the film, which is composed by Harris Jayaraj. This song, titled Oh Sone Sone Super Sonic, has lyrics written by Pa Vijhay and choreography by Brinda. S3 stars Suriya, Anushka Shetty, and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. This cop story, produced by Studio Green is expected to be wrapped up in a couple of days.
Speaking to DC about the song, Pa Vijhay says, “We did not want the song to follow the usual introduction song template. So, we have tried a different pattern by focusing on modern heroism. Super Sonic will be a peppy and energetic number that will be loved by music lovers. Javed Ali has rendered this song. Our combination has worked out big time with songs like Kilimanjaro, Siragugal, and Irukanna.”
The lyricist also reveals that he worked on the lyrics for 30 hours along with Harris Jayaraj and Hari. “I am teaming up with Harris Jayaraj after two years and with Hari after 10 years. The recording stretched for three days, and we were improvising the lyrics for almost four days,” he adds.
Suriya, who has grooved to the intro number, tweeted, “Thank you!! You are making me dance for it so... much #S3.” (sic) Pa Vijhay is now awaiting the release of Tamil dubbed version of MS Dhoni’s biopic for which he has written the lyrics for eight songs.
