We had earlier reported that Arya would be undergoing a complete makeover to play a forest tribe, for his next film. He has been working on toning his physique too. We now hear that film has been titled Kadamban. Arya confirmed this to DC —“Yes, it’s true. The film has been titled Kadamban and my character also has the same name,” he tells us.
Earlier, grapevine had it that the team would opt for Rajinikanth’s yesteryear film title Thanikattu Raja, but putting an end to all the speculation, this news has come as a surprise! Directed by Raghavan of Manjapai fame, the film is bankrolled by RB Choudary’s Super Good Films, and has has Catherine Teresa of Madras fame playing Arya’s romantic interest.
Having been shot in and around the forests of Bangkok, Athirapally in Kerala and Kodaikanal and Tamil Nadu borders, the film is expected to have risky stunt sequences choreographed by Dhilip Subbarayan.
