The previous two instalments of the popular Singam franchise starring Suriya as a police officer, were hits in Kollywood, so expectations are high for the next part — S-III! It looks like director Hari is planning to make it an action-packed adventure on a bigger scale compared to the prequels.
Meanwhile, the city was abuzz with the rumour that Karthi will be seen playing a cameo in a couple of scenes. When DC contacted Karthi, the Thozha actor denied the news. We hear that the story of S-III is likely to be connected to the previous two parts, and will take off from where Singam 2 ended, making it a true sequel.
S-III features Shruti Haasan and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles, besides a host of actors including Nasser, Vivekh, Soori, Robo Shankar, Chaams and Krish among others, and has music by Harris Jayaraj. Some of the locations in which the movie will be shot include Visakhapatnam, Thoothukudi, and Goa.
The team has also finalised some overseas locations for canning song sequences and important scenes in and around Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. Sometime ago, the film was officially re-titled S-III and the filmmakers had announced it via the Twitter handle of the film’s production banner Studio Green, along with the movie’s poster.
