Jayam Ravi’s milestone film goes on floor
Jayam Ravi, who has completed 16 years in Tamil cinema, has touched a milestone with his 25th film, which went on floors recently. Ravi’s debut film Jayam directed by his brother Mohan Raja was a blockbuster and from there on the moniker ‘Jayam’ was added to his name. Today, after giving several hits, Jayam Ravi is a bankable star in Tamil films.
In the new movie, tentatively titled JR25, Nidhi Agarwal will be seen playing his romantic pair. Lakshman, who gave Ravi a winner with Bogan, directs the film. While Imman composes the music, Ravi’s mother-in-law Sujatha Vijayakumar bankrolls the film.
An emotional Ravi tweeted, “Started #JR25 with everyone’s blessings and good wishes Thank you to my fans and well wishers for making my 16 year journey so memorable Deeply humbled and filled with gratitude”.
