Kabali Vishvanth is on a roll
We all might have noticed actor Vishvanth in Pa Ranjith’s Kabali. In the film, he helps Rajinikanth and Dhanshika in finding their lost wife/mother. Ever since the film hit the screens, Vishvanth has been poured with offers.
The Attakathi actor is playing important roles in Vikram starrer Sketch and Vishal starrer Sandakozhi 2. “In Sketch, I play Vikram sir’s friend and will be seen throughout the film. It was a great learning experience to shoot alongside him. Even if his portions are over, he’d stay on the sets and observe how others are performing. Several times, he has appreciated my performance and also gave me inputs on how to enhance a scene.”
In Sandakozhi 2, Vishvanth essays a bold character hailing from Madurai. “I play Varalaxmi Sarathkumar’s pair. After I completed my first scene, Lingusamy sir felt that I was apt for the role as I had delivered my dialogues in Madurai slang. Shooting is underway and I hope both Sketch and Sandakohi 2
catapults me to another level,” he adds.
He is also playing the lead role in a film titled Onaigal Jakkirathai. “Another film as a hero is in the pipeline. The untitled psychological thriller is helmed by a famous short-filmmaker.”
Not many know that Vishvanth’s passion is dance. “I used to work with choreographer Sridhar master and I still do whenever I get time. That’s how I entered the movie industry and right from Pa. Ranjith to Rajinikanth, everyone has been extremely supportive and has had an influence in my career. I don’t want to stick to doing only lead roles instead, I want to be a go-to artist who can pull of any character,” he concludes.
