Comedian Mayilsamy’s son Anbu who had appeared in few films has been roped in for a movie titled Chidambaram Railway Gate, inspired by real life incidents witnessed by the film’s director Sivabalan. A period movie set in the year 1980 it is about two thick friends who turn foes.
Neeraja, who acted in Ekaantham, plays the heroine. The supporting cast includes Rekha, Super Subbarayan and Balasaravanan. Karthik Raja composes the music. A massive set resembling Chidambaram in the ‘80s has been erected at TR Gardens where a major chunk of the shoot will be canned.
