Meenakshi is the latest import from Mollywood who is debuting in PG Muthaiah-Shanmuga Pandian's film Madura Veeran. The young actress is all praise for Shanmugapandian, son of actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth.
Top cinematographer PG Muthaiah directs Madura Veeran, which is set against a Jallikattu backdrop. Meenakshi shares her experiences shooting for the film.
“Despite coming from a big family, Shanmuga Pandian is so grounded and a simple person to move with. It was comfortable working with him. Since this is my first film, I was a bit hesitant, but as a co-star he was always helpful in getting my lines right,” Meenakshi tells us.
The actress also heaps praise on Muthaiah who was very supportive. “He knows exactly what he wants from artistes. His energy levels on the sets are so high and they send positive vibes to everyone”. She says that her best experience during the shooting was the day when Vijayakanth and Premalatha visited the shooting spot and interacted with her nearly for an hour. “It is a moment ot be cherished for me”.
