Prajin back with a powerful role
Prajin, who has been going on and off the big screen, is now back with a movie titled Kundrathile Kumaranukku Kondaattam. Dayanandhan, a former associate of Seenu Ramasamy who has worked in films like Neer Paravai and Dharamadurai, directs the film. KKK has late actress Riyamikka as the female lead while Bhagyaraj, Imman Annachi and Shakeela have supporting roles.
Talking about the film, the director says, “The movie revolves around an alcoholic and how, after kicking the habit through de-addiction therapy, he sets an example to society with his revolutionary deeds. Prajin plays the protagonist and there’s a good message in it.”
The movie also marks the debut of Shankar, better known as Sadhaga Paravaigal Shankar, the son of renowned late Tamil composer Ulundhoorpettai Shanmugam, as music composer. The first single, Theera Theera, rendered by Chinmayi Sripada, which was recently released, has garnered lot of attention from audiences and celebrities. While Shankar Mahadevan said the song has rare and fantastic arrangements, Hariharan praised its different orchestration.
Drums Sivamani said it has a reggae style of presentation.
The film has reportedly been shot in various abodes of Lord Murugan across Tamil Nadu.
