I've become more patient now: Aadhi

He also adds that Nikki will be playing a thara' local character, which will be an absolute treat to watch.

After Yagavar ayinum Naa Kaakka, hit combo Aadhi and Nikki Galrani are pairing up again for an untitled flick directed by newbie Saravanan. Aadhi says, “The film will be a mixture of sci-fi, adventure and comedy. It’s an interesting and entertaining script, which audiences haven’t seen before in Tamil cinema. I play a guy-next-door from Tirupur. What happens in his life forms the rest of the story.”

He also adds that Nikki will be playing a ‘thara’ local character, which will be an absolute treat to watch. However, the Eeram actor is clear about his choices and tells us how in the span of one year, he would have easily listened to over 100 scripts by upcoming filmmakers.

“Previously, if I liked the story, I would say yes immediately. I didn’t spend this much time thinking before I signed films. Then, I realised that I need to visualise whatever I hear. So, now I don’t interrupt directors when I listen to their scripts. Each narration lasts a minimum of two hours. I do films that satisfy my appetite as an actor, and have become a more patient listener,” he smiles.

So, what’s next? “I have developed a passion for the process of cinema. Now, I know that it’s not enough to just work hard, but I need to work with a good team, which is equally important for blockbusters. I am waiting for roles that will take me to the next level,” Aadhi quips. This yet-to-be-titled flick has Brahmanandam and Kota Srinivasa Rao, among others playing pivotal roles.
