Urvashi roped in for Suriya’s venture

Veteran actress Urvasi is the latest addition to Suriya’s Soorarai Pottru, reportedly based on the life of businessman GR Gopinath, founder of low-cost airline Air Deccan. Directed by Sudha Kongara, who gave the award winning film Iridhi Suttru, Aparna Balamurali of Sarvam Thaala Mayam, Mohan Babu and Jackie Shroff are already on board. GV Prakash has composed the music.

Urvashi will reportedly be seen in a pivotal role in SP, bankrolled by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment. One may recall Urvashi was also part of Jyotika starrer female centric recent flick Magalir Mattum, which was also produced by 2D. Suriya is presently awaiting the release of much anticipated Kaappaan in KV Anand’s direction.
