After ruling the roost in Tollywood with big ticket entertainers like ‘Aravinda Sametha’, ‘Ala Vaikuntapuramloo’ and ‘Maharshi’, pretty actress Pooja Hegde is all set explore digital space with a Tamil web series very soon. “Yes, she is doing a web series in Tamil since the story was quite captivating and exciting,” says a source and adds, “She is going to work with Tamil director Ajay Gnanamuthu who is known for his path-breaking movies like ‘Cobra’ and ‘DeMonteColony and it will go on floors soon,” he adds.
The reigning actress would be reportedly allocating a month for this new project. "She would be allotting 30 to 35 days for this web series and she is excited to explore digital space for the first time in her happening career,” he points out. She also has a three-film deal with leading production house Haarika Hassine Creations for doing three big projects with them. "Pooja Hegde hasn't signed any Telugu film yet and discussions are underway since her craze among Telugu viewers is intact and she is going to bounce back with a bang soon," he adds.
After top-rung heroines like Kajal Agarwal (Live Telecast), Tamannaah (Jee Karda) and Samantha (Family Man 2), it is now the turn of Pooja Hegde to test her luck in a new arena. “She wanted to try out something new and refreshing on digital space and it happened only now,” he concludes.
