Abirami Ramanathan gets Chennai rights
Ace producer and exhibitor Abirami Ramanathan has grabbed the Chennai distribution rights for Trisha’s first female-centric political thriller titled ParamapadhamVilayaatu. The movie, directed by Thirugnanam, will see Trisha as a doctor and doting a mother to a girl with speech and hearing disabilities.
“After watching the film with his family, Ramanathan Sir was soimpressed that he immediately clinched the deal,” says an inside source.
The actress has performed several action sequences without a body double, reveals Thiru.
The script is unique and has unexpected twists and turns, adds the director. He also states that Trisha’s character is endowed with an innocence that transforms into intelligence. In an earlier interview, Trisha had said that the film, which is her 60th offering in her two-decade long career, is very special to her. Nandha, Richard and Vela Ramamoorthy are the supporting cast. Amaresh Ganesh does the music. The film is set to hit the screens by this month.
