Continuing to rave about his Premgi’s talents, he adds, “Premgi’s music has versatility. I feel he is by and large under-estimated. What makes him valuable is his ability to connect with today’s generation. Contrary to his image on social media, he’s a very serious professional with wonderful recording skills. I am sure RK Nagar will get him the recognition he truly deserves.”
Though it bears the name of the constituency in Chennai that was considered to be late CM Jayalalithaa’s stronghold, Rajan claims that RK Nagar has nothing to do with politics. “It is a mix of thrill and romance,” he says. However, the film’s trailer and audio suggest that it could be a political satire. RK Nagar stars Vaibhav Reddy, Sana Althaf, Anjana Kriti, and Sampath in the lead.
