Of late, actors and actresses prefer to widen their market in different languages. The latest addition to the list is actress Vidya Pradeep, who was last seen in Vijay Vasanth and Srushti Dange starrer Achamindri. The actress is foraying into Sandalwood with Bangara S/O Bangarada Manushya opposite Shiva Rajkumar.
Speaking to DC, Vidya says, “I have completed the shoot of my debut film in Kannada and its ready for release. I went to attend the audition and the entire team loved my performance. I play a bubbly role in Bangara… and I will be appearing throughout the movie. Majority of the portions were shot in the picturesque locations of Europe.”
The Pasanga 2 actress felt nervous on the first day of the shoot. “Since the entire setup is new, I felt extremely jittery. Before the shooting commenced, I learnt the basics of Kannada and today I can speak the language fluently. Shiva Rajkumar and the entire team were very supportive and friendly,” she shares. Currently, Vidya is shooting for two Tamil projects — Kalari with Krishna and Othaikku Othai with Atharvaa. She is also looking forward to act in Malayalam, which is her native language.
