If Arvind Swami and Naga Chaitanya’s names weren’t big enough, there is another big name getting associated with Karthick Naren’s next film, Naragasooran. It is none other than Gautham Menon, who has joined the project as a producer. Talking to DC, Karthick gushes with excitement. He says, “It is certainly an extremely special thing for me. It used to be my aim to join his team as an assistant, as it is with many other aspiring filmmakers. So even though he is part of my next film, I will always remain his fan boy!”
Saying that most of their conversations revolve around cinema, Karthick says, “Gautham sir is a very jovial person. Although most of our talks are about films, we also talk about life in general.”
Naragasooran will be jointly produced by Ondraga Entertainment and Karthick’s own production house Knight Nostalgia Filmotainment — which made Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru. “The script has been locked, and the cast, except for the female lead has been finalised. We expect to go on floors in August or September,” he tells. Naragasooran will be the second part of the thriller trilogy the director plans to make.
