The climax of Kazhugu 2, a sequel to its earlier thriller was so shocking and emotional that it moved the entire audience to tears,” remarked several distributors who watched a sneak peek of the Krishna- Bindu Madhavi starrer.
Directed by Sathya Siva who also did the original, the first part was a love story about a man who earned his living by recovering dead bodies of those who committed suicide. Siva said it was based on real life experiences.
In the sequel, Krishna plays a man who is an expert in handling wild dogs creating havoc on villagers settled in the foothills of the Western Ghats.
Produced by Madhukur Moviemakers, Kaali Venkat is the new addition in the film. Kazhugu 2, with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music, will hit the marquee on August 1.
