Jai Akash teams up with Tollywood girl Sony Charishta for his upcoming thriller Chennai 2 Bangkok. Despite his good looks and talents, he is yet to get a much-needed break. He hopes C2B, directed by Thyagaraj, will do the necessary trick. The movie was launched recently with noted filmmaker Prabhu Solomon giving the clap from the clapboard for the first take.
Speaking about the film, he says, “It’s about a guy who desperately wants to join the police force, gets rejected and then saves Indian girls who fall prey to human trafficking and are taken to Bangkok. It’s an action thriller with stuntmen from Bangkok being roped in for crucial action blocks.” The rest of the cast includes Yazhini, Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Yogi Babu, Chaams, ‘Power Star’ Srinivasan, Ashwin, Suma, Suja etc.
