Venkat Prabhu, in his trademark quirky style, has been making many announcements about his next production. The film will be directed by one of his assistants Saravanan Rajan and Badri Kasthuri is joining Venkat Prabhu as one of the producers. The announcement posters are akin to political parties announcing the name of their candidates for an election! Like any other Venkat Prabhu film, this one also has his brother Premgi, but as a music director. Other VP regulars like editor Praveen KL and costume designer Vasuki Bhaskar are part of this untitled project.
Speaking to DC, Venkat Prabhu clarified, “Many media outlets are reporting that Telugu actor Rajashekar is part of this film, but he is not. Vaibhav Reddy and Sana who did Chennai 28 II Innings and Sampath have been roped in to play the lead besides an ensemble cast.” Ask him about the intriguing first look that suggests that it may be a political satire, and he says, “It is not a full-fledged political story. It’s a fun-filled film, with a tinge of politics only.”
