It’s no secret that Ajith is an avid car and bike racer. The latest buzz is that he will be racing in Switzerland. Oh no, not in competition, but as part of his upcoming film Valimai.
After Nerkonda Paarvai, Thala has once again joined hands with director Vinoth for this movie, his 60th. He is reportedly essaying a cop in the movie, bankrolled by Boney Kapoor.
The first schedule of the film was shot in Hyderabad at Ramoji Rao Film City and the unit is currently filming in Chennai. Reliable sources reveal that the next schedule of Valimai will be happening in Switzerland during April. A major chunk, including two important racing sequences, is to be shot there.
Though several names including Ileana and Yami Gautam were doing the rounds as leading lady of the film, Huma Qureshi, who shared screen space with Rajini in Kaala, has reportedly been selected for that slot in the big budget flick. It may be recalled that Huma was to debut in Tamil with Ajith’s 2012 Billa 2 after she was selected following an audition, but she reportedly left the project when the film was delayed.
While Yuvan Shankar Raja composes the music, cinematography is by ace Nirav Shah.
