Anirudh renders a hip-hop song
Top music composer Anirudh croons an opening song for Harish Kalyan in his upcoming flick Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale, an astrology based entertainer, directed by actor turned filmmaker Sanjay Bharathi.
Speaking to DC, Sanjay says, “Ani is my college junior and we share very good rapport. This song, which appears in the beginning, is an energetic number, which talks mainly about the lead hero’s life, his belief in astrology, horoscope, the matching girls etc. It’s a hip-hop genre and I needed a unique voice. Except Ani, who is a rock star, no one came to my mind. When I approached him, he gave his instant nod. Ghibran who has composed the song was also happy.”
The song was recently shot with Harish on colourful sets at Gokulam Studios with several dancers from Mumbai taking part in it and grooving to the steps of choreographer Kalyan. While Reba Monica John, who played an appealing character in Vijay’s Bigil, plays one of the leads, Sanjay is introducing Digangana Suryavanshi from Mumbai as the other heroine.
